TitleMatch: resume-to-job matching with no accounts and no stored data.

TitleMatch is a job match finder we designed, built and run ourselves. A visitor drops in a resume and gets live openings within 50 miles or remote, ranked by seniority fit and skill overlap. The resume is parsed in the browser and never sent to a server.

6 live job sources

Openings pulled fresh from major job boards every time someone searches.

0 resumes stored

PDF and Word resumes are read in the browser and never uploaded.

360 SEO landing pages

15 job titles across 24 cities, each built from live listings.

No user database

Stripe handles subscriptions, so there are no accounts or passwords to manage.

The problem

Job seekers hand their resume to every site they try.

Most job matching tools want an account, a stored profile and permission to email you forever before they show a single result. We wanted to test whether useful matching could work with none of that: upload, see matches, leave.

How it's built

A light front end, a small back end and pages that stay current on their own.

Front end

Parsing and matching in the browser

One fast page reads the resume on the visitor's own device and ranks live openings by seniority and skill fit. Nothing about the visitor is sent anywhere to do it.

Backend

A small back end for billing and alerts

Stripe handles checkout and the billing portal. Saved searches send a weekly email of new matches, and subscribers move to a new device with a short-lived email link instead of a password.

Growth

Search pages that stay current

Each job title and city page is built from live listings when someone opens it, so search engines always see current openings. The sitemap updates itself the same way.

What was hard

Getting Google to index the right pages.

Some title and city combinations return only a handful of listings. Google Search Console flagged those as thin content and duplicate canonicals, which held back indexing across the whole set.

The fix was one quality bar applied everywhere. Pages with too few live openings still work for a visitor who lands on them, but they stop asking Google to rank them and drop out of the sitemap. The sitemap also keeps building when a job board is slow to answer, so one bad request never takes the whole file down.

Business model

Freemium, with nothing to sign up for.

Free

Top five matches per search across the open job boards. No email required.

Premium, $9.99/month

Full results from every job source and weekly email alerts for saved searches. Managed entirely through the Stripe customer portal.

What it shows

Small infrastructure can carry a real product.

TitleMatch runs payments, weekly email and live job data on low-cost hosting, with no server or database to maintain. We bring the same approach to client work: keep the moving parts few, keep user data off our systems unless the product needs it, and ship.
